The parade will begin at 11:00 AM, but you are encouraged to find a place to watch by 9:00 as the sidewalks fill up fast. Hosted by the Los Gatos Lion's Club and the Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation Department.

History Museums of San Jose presents a period fashion show followed by a traditional Victorian Tea. Come out and see the new bridge!
The new bridge has been set and is open to the public. Take the Los Gatos Creek Trail to Lark Avenue and you will see it. Now there is no need to climb the 25% slope up to Lark Avenue or to J-walk across Lark Avenue. The improvements surrounding the new bridge are almost complete as well. Notice the bridge deck, made of a wood/plastic composite recycled material .

ISRAELI INDEPENDENCE DAY: This event will take place at Plaza Park and is scheduled from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. There will be vendors and food booths at the Park. Montebello Way and Broadway Avenue, East of S. Santa Cruz Avenue will be closed during the event.
RUMMAGE SALE Large . . OR Small. . ...items are needed to help support the Los Gatos Police Department's Volunteers in Policing Rummage Sale. This second annual rummage sale will be held on Saturday, April 27th and Sunday April 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The location has not yet been decided.
The proceeds from the rummage sale will benefit the "Volunteers in Policing" program.

Teen Center "Outhouse" Located behind the LG High School
*Workshops are strongly suggested for those who are interested in painting a panel on the bridge. The workshops will supply historical references as well as art supplies to create a sketch of your design for a panel. The sketches will be used to determine placement on the bridge. Finished sketches will be exhibited in the Town Council Chambers during March.
January 25, 1996 THE GREAT RACE: This event is a run/walk that commences in Saratoga and finishes in the downtown area of Los Gatos. 3000 participants are expected.
Los Gatos' 39th Annual Children's Christmas/Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, December 2, 1995.
The Parade starts at 11:00 A.M. but Los Gatos streets will be closed at 10:00 A.M. so come early and get the best vantage point and parking space. The Parade commences at Almenda & North Santa Cruz Avenue and proceeds south to Main Street, then East on Main Street to the Civic Center. The Parade is approximately 2 hours long with over 10 High School Bands participating along with 40 decorated floats and other assorted menagerie and horse enteries and, of course, Santa Claus!
