To: Rep. Mike Honda:

Greetings! We have a problem.

Congressman Darrell Issa has introduced HR 2369 - a potential disaster
for California.

The bill will allow "hybrids" into the carpool lanes. We may as well allow
everyone into the lanes.

There is no magic in a "hybrid" - it burns GAS, it emits EXHAUST, it gets
GAS MILEAGE, it needs MOTOR OIL, and ANTI-FREEZE just like every other
polluting, non-renewably fueled vehicle on the road.

"Hybrids" do not solve a single problem with respect to today's
"non-hybrid" vehicles. They deserve NO SPECIAL TREATMENT!!!!

I drive an ELECTRIC CAR. It uses NO GAS, has NO EXHAUST PIPE, gets no GAS
MILEAGE, uses NO MOTOR OIL, NO ANTIFREEZE, and thanks to the solar panels
on my roof, is powered by RENEWABLE ENERGY.

PLEASE STOP HR 2369, and introduce incentives for MY VEHICLE and OTHERS
LIKE IT instead of voting for BIG OIL, as Mr. Issa obviously has.

Please forward this to Mr. Issa, this system will not let me write to him,
even though his bill will affect me (and all of California).

Thanks for listening, Mr. Honda.
