Event Description: The "Fiesta de Artes" Los Gatos 1997 is a professionally produced art and wine festival fund-raiser, that is truly a Los Gatos tradition, held for over twenty-five years. Over the years it has benefited various non-profit groups, until 1996, when the Kiwanis Club of Los Gatos proudly acquired the event. Previously held at "Old Town," a historic site now under renovation, the festival has moved to the park and grounds of Town Center on Main Street in the heart of downtown Los Gatos. The new location allows the old festival to nearly double in size, presenting a wide variety of food, beverages and entertainment to suit its discerning audience.
The Kiwanis Club of Los Gatos supports many local community projects,
including the Los Gatos Children's Christmas Parade, Los Gatos
Community Foundation, Youth Science Institute, Eastfield Ming
Quong, Los Gatos Seniors, Southwest YMCA and Crippled Children's
Society, among others.
